Case Study: COIT Deep Cleans Restaurant’s Carpets, Upholstery, and Drapes

In restaurants, where food is being handled and there is a high amount of traffic, it’s important to keep all surfaces clean and sanitary for the safety of all guests and staff. To support these cleaning efforts, COIT was tasked with deep cleaning a fine dining restaurant’s carpeted flooring, upholstered furniture, tiles, and drapery.

To avoid disruption during work hours, our technicians, who are trained in IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification) cleaning methods, arrived early during the day while the restaurant was closed for business.

To clean the restaurant’s drapes we removed them, cleaned them off-site, and re-hung them the same day. To deep clean the carpets, our technicians used powerful truck-mounted vacuums and steamers to sanitize the floor. Our technicians followed this cleaning with an application of COITGard™ solution, a stain-resistant protective coating to extend the life of carpets and keep them looking fresh. Using air movers, we were able to expedite the drying process and ensure all moisture was removed from the carpeting.
